Default 2006 convertible dash panel

How does one get the dash panel around the window switches apart for replacement of drivers window switch. It sticks in the down position and one has to remember to push it back up quickly when it does this or you can't operate the window for a few s
minutes. I'm wanting to replace this switch but don't want to break the plastics in the dash to remove it.
Thanks.

There are 2 screws, 1 each behind the vents.
Spin the vents around till you see a slot, that is the only way to see the screw.
Once both screws re removed, just grab it from 1 side or the top & pull...for me the passenger side always seems easier when sitting in the drivers seat.
Once you pull it out, you will have to unplug the clock & then you can unplug the window switch.

Also you might want to check-out a wrecking yard first for a window switch. new thy run about $84.00 Awhile back I purchased two window switches just incase they cost $12.00 ea I Bought 1 for my 002 and 1 for my 006 they also had money back guarantee return if defective, Also you really don't have to put those two screws back on,the bezel snaps on tight with out them anyway.Best to you.
