Default Bad smell

Hello all!....just recently purchased an 08 convertible. The car is in fantastic shape...runs, drives and looks great!....BUT....i think the previous owners parked it under trees. The issue is a pretty strong mildew smell in the car. I have already cleaned the carpets, and the seats...(had a few stains, nothing bad)..but the smell seems like its coming from the area where the top folds into, or it may just be the top itself...My question> is there a drain that could be stopped up in the area where the top retracts into?....i just dont wanna tear something up looking if there isn't one. Just thinking it may be sacked with leaves or something....and ideas??

Default Re: Bad smell

We live in Florida and recently my Wife's PT Convertible has developed a mildew odor when the AC is on. Giving a few liberal shots of Lysol disinfectant spray into the cowl vent intake under the hood while the AC is running seems to have killed off the mildew.
