'05 Touring Convertible SQUEEKING problem
Hi guys. Im new to this site but Ive been coming here for years for reference and ideas. I finally got my hands on a super clean 2005 PT Cruiser Touring convertible in white, black roof and black interior. My problem is every time I roll over a decent bump or hole with my front left wheel, I hear a super loud squeeking noise which seems to be coming from the passenger window. I know convertibles tend to twist more but this noise is driving my insane. If I open the door with the window up, I can grab it and it seems to move a lot more then I would expect. Could it be the squeek is coming from hard rubbing against a seal or something during body flex or something??? Any help would be great. I'm trying to avoid bringing it into the dealer at this point.
Future questions to come (If anyone out there knows):
1. Seat belts won't retract, airbag light is on... (Car was once involved in a minor fender bender.
2. Radiator fan turns on waaay too often. Even when it's really cold outside. A/C is always off and the defrost button is NOT on.
3. Honk works randomly. One day it'll work and sometimes it doesn't...
Thanks again guys!
