Has anyone ever produced a removable Fiberglas Hardtop for the PT Convertible?
I'm just not an al fresco kinda guy. Had a 69 Corvette Roadster with both tops and once I put the Hardtop on it I never took it off. Also had an 88 Suzuki Samurai that i bought a Fiberglas top for it and never took it off once I installed it. ![]() So just wondering if anything was available.

Nope!
As per the longest running retailer in the PT Cruiser aftermarket parts CMS. Cruiser Motorsports | One Stop Accessory Shop I looked into this for a customer a few years ago and found a couple fiberglass /fabrication shops willing to take on the project. Around $3000 -3500 and a semi good soft top for a template and your PT Cruiser from about 3-6 weeks. I had a 1979 1/2 Limited MGB with a Snug Top hardtop and never took it off once I installed it.

To each their own, but why put a fiberglass hard top on a convertible and leave it on? I've always liked convertibles because I can drop the top.

Nope. It's Burt. And the guy in your photo is not near far out enough. Burt recently traded his John Deer side-by-side ATV for a Harley like he used to have when it was younger. I've been expecting to get the sad phone call for about a month now. But not yet. ![]()

Chester is actually a pretty nice guy. I got in touch with him about his PT Coupe, and if I had the money, I'd do that to mine. That would really piss the wife off and probably lead to divorce. Anyone want to lend me some money?
