Default Heated Seats not Working

I have an 05 PT Base Convertible, I acquired "Leather/Power/Heated Seats from an 05 PT Cruiser Convertible Touring Donor Car. Everything installed perfectly, added the OEM relay and both fuses were already present. The only problem is the seat heater does not turn on when the switch is depressed, the switch illuminates when the lights are on, and the power seat works, just no heat. Does the PCM/ECM have to be programmed similar to adding the Fog Light Kit and the PCM/ECM has to be programmed to acknowledge the new equipment?

Maybe the heat pads don't work. Have you tried direct wiring them to check. It shouldn't take but a minute or so to find out. Make sure you keep one hand on the ground so you can disconnect it quickly if the seat starts to get too hot.

I did not, someone posted the pin outs on the connector in a different thread. That is a really good idea, once the weather clears up I'll give it a shot and post the results. Thanks!!!

Sweet! I've also been looking for a full set of leather. Where were you able to find them?

I actually found them on Ebay, I've been looking at wrecking yards locally and most PT's are hammered inside and out. I got these for $650 which included freight shipping from Illinois. They weren't cheap, but well worth the price considering the excellent shape they are in.
