Default auto window drop and fog lights

tried to program 2 new gray keys, in my 05 convertible. wouldnt take. bad battery. needed 12 volts or more.. replaced battery, now wondows wont drop and cant turn off fog lights. pulled fog light fuse. windows will still go up and down manually, but wont drop when doors are opened. ill try disconnecting battery with doors shut and windows up, if i dont screw up the rubber... fog light switch, was pushed in, and in off position, so they shouldnt have been on..

not sure how it is on chryslers but on mercedes benz we have to hold down the button for an extra few seconds after letting go at the top point to calibrate for the new position. then the windows should go down. porsche calls this the 'claw-down' function

Post if the method in the link below does not work. This is the first step.

You should find out why the fog lights are staying on. Was this issue causing the battery to drain?

Smart Glass Modual Repaired.

To reset the doors need to be open on the convertible

The fog light issue is probably the same one that almost all of us have had. The multi-function switch goes bad and they stay on all the time. A new aftermarket switch does not cost much and takes less than 10 minutes to change.

On my daughter's convertible, the Smart Glass would stop working after the battery was disconnected, but it would always start working again after a bit.
