I've been dreading working on this step for a while... I finished it to within the last 5%. It's a relief to have this part almost behind me. I created a slanted wall to enclose the back half of the console to seal out the elements. This part was pretty awkward to get to for welding. Even sitting on the floor the car was too low and it was difficult to have on the welding helmet to see what I was doing. Turned out pretty good though. The upper back half of the console on the inside of the car that holds the emergency brake will be installed once the body is mounted to the frame without too much difficulty. Another step in the right direction!
