Just purchased a set of Trend Setter side pipes for my PT convertible
from Revel Enterprises. Quality and workmanship very very poor, not worth the $995 price tag. Inside of Y pipe almost blocked off with weld. Had to die grind excess weld out. Exterior weld on pipes had holes in it. Had to grind and reweld. Muffler that came with the kit was too restrictive. About 3 hours of my time to make this unit usable. Replaced the muffler with a low restriction one from Summit Racing. Also used Walker SS band clamps instead of the cheap saddle clamps. Have the side pipes installed, looks great and sounds nice and mellow. The side sheilds are quality, but the rest... well. |
