4th Annual Riverfront Ramble, Delaware County, PA
The 4th Annual Riverfront Ramble will be on Saturday September 15, 2007 (rain date is September 16).
Highlights of this years Riverfront Ramble will of course be the PT Cruiser Show. This year we are going to try something different. The Opening Ceremonies will be held at Market Square Memorial Park in Marcus Hook at 1:00 PM and they are asking for as many PT Cruisers as possible to meet at the Marcus Hook Community Center by 12:45 PM. After the Opening Ceremonies, we will be escorted through some of the event locations and end up at Governor Printz Park. The actual show at the park will be starting at 2 PM and concluding around 9 PM after the Fireworks at Governor Printz Park. The park is located at W. 2nd Street and Taylor Ave. Essington, PA 19029. If you are not able to join us in Marcus Hook for the Opening Ceremonies, please do not come to the park before 2:00 PM as we will need time to set up after our arrival.
This year some members of the Delco Cruisers, a local “all inclusive” car club will be joining us in the park around 4:00 PM. They will be coming from a “Relay for Life” charity show just up the road in Prospect Park.
At our location, there will be a Pirate Encampment, pony rides (for a small fee) and other children’s activities along with food and music throughout the day.
A number of Sailing Ships will visit all of the event locations during the day.
There will be a live band concert in the evening leading up to the Fireworks at 8:45 PM.
Free shuttle busses will take you to the other locations so you can enjoy all of activities offered.
