5th Annual Riverfront Ramble, Delaware, County, PA

5th Annual Riverfront Ramble, Delaware County, PA

The 5th Annual Riverfront Ramble will be held on Saturday September 20, 2008 (rain date is September 21).
Some highlights of this years Riverfront Ramble will of course be the Car Shows (a Smart Car will also be on display), Pirate Encampment, Concerts, Dining on the Delaware and of course Fireworks to top it all off! The Car Show at the park will be starting at 1 PM and concluding around 9 PM after the Fireworks at Governor Printz Park. You are free to leave whenever you like.
The park is located at W. 2nd Street and Taylor Ave. Essington, PA 19029.
Again this year, The Delco Cruisers, a local “all inclusive” car club will be joining us in the park.
As of now, we will have Dash Plaques but no trophies. We are still looking for a sponsor.
At our location, there will be a Pirate Encampment, pony rides (for a small fee) and other children’s activities along with food and music throughout the day & evening.
A number of Sailing Ships will visit all of the event locations during the day.
There will be a live band concert in the evening leading up to the Fireworks at 8:45 PM.
Free shuttle busses will take you to the other locations so you can enjoy all of activities offered.

UPDATE!

We will have trophies!

A "Judges Choice" trophy will be awarded to a Delco Cruisers and a Del Val PT Cruisers show participant.
Judging will be by Riverfront Ramble staff on location.
Awards will be presented around 5 PM.
The show starts at 1:00 PM and show cars are welcome to stay until after the fireworks at 8:45 PM.
Dash Plaques to the first 50 cars registered the day of the show.
Please stop by the Del Val PT Cruiser tent to register and receive your dash plaque.

Most activities at the park will wrap up around 5 PM, there will be live music in the park up to the fireworks at 8:45 PM.

Looks like the weather is going to cooperate for this years Riverfront Ramble.
Partly sunny with daytime temps in the low 70s and mid 60s for the Fireworks!
Make sure you bring a jacket or sweatshirt and watch the Fireworks from one of the 3 locations.
All 3 locations can be seen from Governor Printz Park!

Trophy winners for the Ramble were:
Dave and Nadene Dixon for the Margaritaville PT.

Somethings wrong. Your link is to Shutterfly and you have to sign in. I have pictures on Shutterfly so when I sign in it takes me right to my own pictures and not to th pictures of your show. I also tried a search on the site for Riverfront Ramble 2008 but that didn't work.

OK, I had to hit "slideshow" to get them to a size to see them properly but I did get to see them all. Nice setting for the show and a couple of really nice trophies. A lot of beautiful cars too.
