The Del Val PT Cruisers have been invited to host a PT Car Show in conjunction with Family Appreciation Day at Southampton Estates, 238 Street Road, Southampton, PA 18966, an ACTS Retirement-Life Community on Saturday October 11, 2008, 11 AM to 2 PM. One of our members, Nate Elkins (Nate's Obsession), is employed there and the residents just love his PT Cruiser. The facility will be providing trophies with the residents doing the judging and also will provide FREE FOOD (typical picnic fare). We will start with a parade around the grounds at approximately 10:20 AM, with a possible special escort vehicle, for those residents unable to come down to the show area and see the Cruisers. If you wish to participate in the parade please arrive at 10 AM. There will also be a One Man Glen Miller Band, a Petting Zoo and a Clown making Balloon Animals. In lieu of a registration fee they are requesting a $5 (minimum) per car donation to their Deerfield Meadows Project. But please feel free to show your generous PT spirit and donate more if you like. They are trying to fund electricity to a new gazebo on their grounds. And don't forget it's Tax Deductible! If you make your donation with a check or money order they can be made out to ACTS, Inc. (memo on left corner Deerfield Meadows) and if
it has your address on it you will receive a donation letter for tax purposes.

Please let us know if you are planning to attend so we may let them know approximately how many PT's will be coming.

This show will be a first for the ACTS Communities here in the East. There will be a few Corporate Executives along with a State Senator at the show. Who knows, the PTs may get some press coverage.

30 animals in our petting zoo

We'll also have 3+ souped-up trucks and a Smart Car
Car parade 10:30 a.m around complex
200 soft pretzels donated from a local bakery
Free lunch thanks to a local Soccer Club donation
Glenn Miller, One Man Band 11 a.m.- 2 p.m.
