Hey their PokonoPT,
First off, welcome to the Forum. Sounds like a really cool Event! I would big time love it if you could maybe shoot me over some pics of your Event when it swings back around so I can add them to my ever growing PT Photo Archive. Also if you would like, several PT Clubs have started offering copies of my step by step Automotive Detailing Guide from my days back when I had my own full service detailing shop, and worked a lot one on one with my friends over at Meguiar's. I have posted the Guide which walks you through each step involved in Professional Detailng in great detail in the Detailing section of this Forum which breaks everything down, and gives you a good understanding to allow anyone to perform a full show quality $300.00 Detail from top to bottom, and has now been used several times as a cool hand out for Show Goody Bags, or a couple of people have printed a copy of my Guide and put it in a nice Binder, and used it for a cool Raffle Prize, and so forth. In fact, my Guide was used not that long ago as part of the Goody Bags for one of the big PT Shows out on the East Coast which I thought was so cool! Anyways, if you, or anyone you know might ever have any interest in using my Guide for anything, anytime, you are more than welcome to alter, print it out, copy it, and use it any way you would like. Just something cool that people are really starting to enjoy these days! ![]() To make life a bit easier, here is a direct Link to my Guide. PT Automotive Detailing Guide Quick Reference Anyways, stay cool, Cruise easy, and I will catch you later. Candyman

Just an update on the Spookfest. I am in negotiation with several hotels, and it is looking good for a room rate around the $65 area. The website is about half completed, and we are hoping to have pre registration open by the first of the year. You will be able to pre register, however, we will not require payment until the actual time of the event.

I am definitely interested! Depends on whats going on at the time I suppose. As long as the registration deadline is not to far from the actual event this may be possible. I just hope that plain old unmodified Cruisers are welcome.... Still waiting for warranty to expire... MAN ITS TAKING FOREVER!!!

Hi, sorry its been so long since I updated you on Spookfest! Its been a crazy few weeks for me. The website is under construction, and will hopefully be up by the end of the month. I will give you the info here.
PT Spookfest will be held on October 15-17, 2010. We will be starting in Tannersville, PA on Friday morning for the cruise up to Lake George, NY. We changed from the Gettysburg destination due to higher hotel costs, plus the Lake George area is beautiful in the Fall. If anyone would like to join us for the cruise up, I can help them locate a hotel here. The cruise Friday will take us up though Pennsylvania and New York, and run through part of Vermont as well. Stops along the way will include a candy shop, antique mall and the fabulous FREE Hemmings Auto News store and museum. Our hotel in Lake George is the Wingate by Wyndham Lake George, with a room rate of $85.00 per night. The contract has been mailed in, and out room block will be reasy by the time the site goes up. The hotel has been kind enough to let us use the parking lot for a glow show Friday night, and the car show on Sat. More details soon!! The show is open to all PT Cruisers and HHRs, from stock to wild! |
