Alright, since this hasn't been posted and I'm highly interested in attending this event, I've mentioned to the SRT-4 guys that there may be a contingent of PT Cruiser guys that would be interested in attending an event. There has also been a lot of interest expressed by the LX guys who have held multiple events in Old Town as well, with somewhere around 80 cars showing up.

As the title states, it will be in Old Town, in Kissimmee, Florida on October 17, 2010.

Last year it was an SRT-4 event and they had over 90 cars show up. This year, they're expecting at least 150 SRT-4s and are serious about making this an all-Mopar event. There is more than enough parking and they have already reserved their 'space''.

People have been pre-registering, and I believe the cost is still $15 to guarantee yourself a spot. The event will consist of raffles, prizes, trophies, a DJ, a mobile dyno and other events as well. The original thread is located

I'll try to have the facilitator of this event come over to this forum and answer questions or provide you with another means of contacting him. But until then, if you have any questions, feel free to ask here or PM me and I'll attempt to relay and answer your questions to the best of my ability.

Also, tell your friends about this event. It is quite likely that this could become the biggest Mopar event in Florida.

I am going but there is almost nothing done to the vehicle only the mufler and brakes,
do i need the 5 mods ?

Maybe things have changed, it's been about 2 years since I used to attend the Friday night gathering at Old Town but that was the criteria for entrance (5 mods - muffler and brakes don't count). At that time they even handed me a paper with a list of about 30 mods that would qualify as the 5. (don't have the paper anymore). Maybe someone could find out for sure if that rule still applies.

Well, after reading this whole thread over again, I see that you don't have to worry about what kind or how many mods your have. This event on Saturday is actually for the SRT guys and we as PT owners will just be a contingent of owners with other cars on the sidelines.

Do we really want to do this? How about just meeting up on Friday night for the regular Old Town gathering rather than jump on someone else's show?

Im down for that! The original post is for SRT-4! Now what ever you guys decide I will be there!!! I remember back in the day when the PT fenomena was out there and I always wanted to be part of that! Now that I got my PT I will love to get together with some of you and enjoy a good time talking about our cars! So let me know what is the plan and I'll be there!!!

Chris, please put me down for this one. Looking forward to seeing more MOPAR stuff. I've been out of touch with car shows recently, so I need to get back into the swing of things.

By the way, are you all still having the riverview meets? In about a month, once I start functioning a little better, I'm going to start trying to make it to those once in a while.

Sounds good man.

As far as the Riverview meets go-- I really haven't been going. It's mostly punks and Hondas, so I don't really head out that way anymore.. I gave it a shot a couple times but got tired of dealing with these kids with no jobs and 8" tachs in their Civics asking me to race..

LOL!!!! Funny!!! Dude lets just put something together just for us!!! What it matters is for us to hang out and have some fun! I promise I wont ask you to race hahahahahahahahaha!!!!!
