Congrats on the new Rt. 66, I've always thought Chryler should use more vibrant colors & less Chrysler colors on the Cruiser. Do you know if the turbo is an option on that model?

As far as i know they are not going to offer it with a turbo.I did a few searches when i was looking to buy and it was hard to find.I located 2 in my area within 1000 miles from me.So far i love it.It looks better in person than in the pictures. The sticker was $21,400,with the rebates that chrysler was offering at the time i got it for $18,800.I will have picture of it after i install the lowering springs.

Well there is the standard 06 Turbo, but no route 66 turbo, that would be like asking for a Dream Cruiser with a turbo, they never made one of those either. You just have to pick which one you prefer.

Actually every Dreamer they made, with the exception of Series 1 (the Gold one) has been based off of the GT HO Turbo. Which DOES make it odd that Chrysler would not offer at least the turbo lite option on the RT. 66 version....

I beleive the Rt. 66 is an option on the Touring model & the turbo lite is only available in the Limited for 06. Too bad that would be a sweet GT color. I've been content w/ my 02 Classic 5 speed but the turbo keeps calling.

Looking at purchasing a RTE66 2006. They aren't in the showroom as yet. Does the interior have those bright yellow dash panels or are they custom?

How do you rate it overall. It looks pretty smick

peter1, I saw one at Myrtle Beach last fall, yes the yellow is used in the interior. Not my cup of tea.

Congrats...I have had mine since the end of September. It really is much improved over the 2001 I traded. I would give it a good rating since the ride is better and the cabin noise has been reduced. I have had a problem with my hatch switch, which has been replaced already but have to go back in again because when unlocked you still can't seem to open the hatch. The tail light has moisture in it but that gets replaced tomorrow. Other than that it is a nice car and a dependable daily driver. It definitely gets attention. I don't mind the yellow but hear a lot of jokes and comments about it. Just have learned not to listen, just laugh at them. Driving a yellow car defintiely keeps you in a good mood. And boy does it stand out among the other pts. Especially when it's clean!!! Enjoy. Missy
