AEM EMS!!!!

10 cyl sequential fuel injection?? its going to add 6 more cyl to my base N/A seriously, when will it be available and HOW MUCH?

Sorry for the no replies...but AEM is a company that produces aftermarket engine control units that are programable, and are equipt with just about every sensor data-logging (which means that you can dyno tune your car to the max in any condition you are using your car for. Example: Driving long distance - pop open your laptop and load the program for gas mileage. Or maybe you are a power freak....like me...The AEM EMS is awesome..... Set your fuel curve to run your car the way you want it to run, in every gear on every rpm!!!!!
I personally have seen some amazing things that this ecu does...

My guy has contacted AEM and they told him that the SRT ecu is done, and that the ecu for the pt cruiser is infact different, but all that is different is how the srt engine harness plugs in...meaning that the harness will be modified slightly for the pt's.. My guy is now comparing my pt with the srt 4 and says that they are very similar, but some of the wires are in different locations....AEM say's that it is going to be released at the end of this month!.. I will have my guy call again tomorrow to verify once again though!!

I will also ask if they have a suggested price for these.....I don't think that it will be any different than the one's that are out, because AEM uses the same box, and boards for every ecu, all that is different is the way your wiring harness plugs in to the board.

That's pretty cool, but what about the "Universal" EMS that they are selling? Why wouldn't that work with our vehicles?

Of cource the universal will work, but it is much much cleaner with the plug and play, and from what my guy say's, is you don't really want to go there with the wiring of our ecu if you don't have too...It is kinda cramped in there!!!! But it can be done if you really want too![:I] But I have asked my guy to call his rep from AEM and triple check now that they are serious about the plug and play......I am all giddy to receive mine!!! Car has been in shop for about 1 month now, turbo upgrade Greddy t37R, 11" tall intercooler, custom intake manifold!!!! (Proto-type) I will let you guys know how it does, but we are confident in a massive increase in power! (Custom flange for the upper radiator hose(Raising it about 1 inch and a half or so to clear the custom fuel rail(Bigger the better), Fuel pump, cluch (of coarse), Prospec b boost controller, SAFC2, turbo timer, completely built head, and more!!! FUN FUN FUN

Been a little over a month now, AEM has completed the ecu for the pt cruiser, I don't know why it hasen't hit the shelf yet, but we are expecting mine to be here any day now....I will have the suggested retail price for this ecu as soon as we can get an answer from aem....The car is being put back together at the end of this week:
LSD
Custom intake manifold
dash 8 fuel line to motor and dash 6 return line(steel braided)
fuel pump
770 Rc injectors to start off with,if everything goes well, push boost up and 1000 plus injectors will be used
Stage 3 axels
custom bracketed fuel rail (Venom aftermarket Honda fuel rail) Fits great with the custom brackets we made
Custom water neck from upper radiator pipe.
Custom Greddy core intercooler (Had ordered the 11 inch one from HaynesSpeedShop.com and it was a piece of crap.....Absolutely terrible....So we created our own that will handle up to around 800 horsepower...We hope!!!!!
Drag turbo manifold with Garrett's t37R ball bearing turbo with all the whissles - Awesome turbo!!!
Srt 4 down pipe I believe is 3-3.5 inch by injen
Same btg dual exhaust for now...we will see if we want to change for performance reasons
Custom intercooler pipes (4 inch)
Waste gate I believe is Garrett or Tile saw it for a second or two looks awesome though
custom wheels by cc wheels - Sweet
Lot's of extras.....Will definetly be a sleeper.....

My EMS has arrived, so far I am told that I have the only one, I don't have any info on when they plan on releasing it. But as soon as I hear something I will let everyone know!...sorry I have been really busy!
