Default Re: Dashboard Complaints

I'm not here to argue or listen to other peoples wise cracks or smart comments. I just want people to call Chrysler Corporation because the only way to fix the dash is having it called in. If your ok with the dash looking horrible then don't reply and move on. Chrysler told me they have never seen the PT's dashboards all crack up and I was the only one. I walk around to the new car dealership and the gentlement that is trying to sale me a car tells me his daughters dash was cracked he stated I should call Chrysler Corporation and if we can get people to start calling with the same complains they will have to recall it.

That "gentlement" your talking about is a salesman and if his lips are moving, he's lying. Chrylser doesn't have to recall ANYTHING unless it's a case of life/death,serious bodily harm or something to do with safety (as I said before). Seriously, have you EVER seen a recall that was about a cosmetic issue?

You might see a TSB come out that tells dealers what to do with a cosmetic issue, but not a recall. The tape marks on the early PT Cruiser black bumpers for example. The dealer would repaint them black or even color match them to the vehicle like the later models but only if the complaint was usually somewhere in the warranty period.

Good luck with that... a recall for a dashboard.. LOL

Mine is fine, but I'll be sure to give them a call if it ever cracks.
