Canadian Government One of the First Nations to Bring
Lithium Vehicles to Advanced Testing Stage: Public Approval Next Step

Hybrid Technologies Inc. an emerging leaders in the development and marketing of lithium-powered products worldwide, is pleased to announce that a delegate from the Canadian Ministry of Transportation has received delivery of Hybrid's all-lithium emissions-free vehicles.

As stated in a previous release, the vehicle contract is part of the Canadian Federal Governments' ecoTRANSPORT Strategy. The Daimler Chrysler Lithium powered PT Cruiser and the Mercedes Benz Lithium powered Smart Car are expected to be evaluated.

The Vehicles, purchased under contract by the Ministry of Transportation Advanced Technology Vehicles Program, will be evaluated on their fuel efficiency, emissions, and safety performance; identifying the market potential of their advanced technologies. As well, the evaluation will help to identify barriers of using advanced technologies and propose solutions. This will raise the public's awareness of the advanced technologies available on current vehicles and vehicles of the future.

Expressing her excitement, Hybrid's Holly Roseberry stated: "We are proud our vehicles were selected to enter the Canadian Federal Government's Advanced Vehicle Fleet. The testing and possible advancement in vehicle analysis will be invaluable to us, as well as to the BEV market in general. Our vehicles passed with flying colors which provides a boost for the industry."
