I was on two waiting lists for the two PT Cruisers that I bought.... First, for the GT when it came out in the 2003 model year and second for the ragtop GT when it came out in the 2005 model year.

During that time my other car was a '01 300M. I burned up the 300M Enthusiasts' Club threads. I was member #0093 of the club. But when the Pacifica Limited came around, I kept my eyes on it, finally selling my "M" for top dollar on eBay, and selling my '03 GT 4 door on eBay, too. I got over the "M", resisted the "C" and bought a Pacifica and the PT GT Convertible.

So, I have graduated to a large crossover and a ragtop; never thought I would. Nonetheless, I am ready for the next generation that Mopar has to offer (driven their products since '65). I trust them to meet my needs.

HOWEVER, AS I AM WRITING THIS MY WIFE JUST GAVE ME MARCHING ORDERS AND IT SEEMS THAT WE'LL KEEP OUR PT GT RAGTOP FOREVER! VIVA CRUISER!!! MOPAR FOREVER!!!

Good.

Now our classic PT's will be worth more

Besides, better that the PT be stopped outright rather then have the name carried on a rebadged Caliber. Or Chery.

As for me, I got my eyes on the Mazdaspeed 3. Another sweet little wagon with giant-killer performance.

If they were smart they would build the PT like CREWZIN said to make with this coupe, (I hope this pic works). Shed some new blood in the works and keep our babies alive

They did the same thing in the early 70s.The droped out of the pony car wars and Ford & Gm made a fourtune from the resurgence of muscle car buyers. Some times I wonder if any one learns from past mistakes.
I know this because I read alot of hot rod mags.Thats why its so damn hard to get your hands on a old Hemi car! I know there breaking off from Diamler, but again with a winng hand they fold again I was getting all excited about the new Challenger coming out,so of course they have to crap in our cheerios Guess I better get that GT before its too late!! My wife should understand

Save the PT Cruiser | Together we can keep the PT Cruiser rolling

Yep, I'm on the list. Over on PT Cruiser World they're trying to get a convoy of PTs from all over to hand the finished list into Detroit in person.
