Default Five of the lowest repair cost vehicles

Five of the lowest repair cost vehicles are American nameplates

Cost Of Repairs
American nameplates had the lowest cost of repairs. To come up with this rating, The Car Book priced out nine items likely to need repairs in the first 100,000 miles and used those prices to build an index.

All five of the lowest repair cost vehicles are American nameplates: Jeep Wrangler, Chrysler Town and Country, Dodge Grand Caravan, Dodge Ram Pickup and Chrysler PT Cruiser.

The five most expensive to repair are the Volkswagen Touareg, Jaguar X-Type, Toyota Avalon, Chrysler Crossfire and Mercedes-Benz M-Class. The nine items on the Jeep Wrangler would cost $1,584 compared to $4,011 for the Mercedes-Benz M-Class.

This is just a small extract of "U.S. Car Companies Rank Well Among Experts".

Ironically enough, my 2 vehicles are a 2000 Grand Caravan Sport (Inferno Red) and my 2005 PT Cruiser Convertible Touring Edition.

There's some new shots of my 'Vert in my Gallery, check them out.

Regards
Terry

Well for me I have both, the van carries all my windsurfing gear inside and my kayaks on top....the PT is for fun Believe me as a single guy, a Grand Caravan is not the way to attract women.

Geez, they should change the title of the piece to "All five of the lowest repair cost vehicles are Chrysler Group nameplates"!!! That's pretty awesome.

This part I'm not so thrilled about. Oh well, I suppose my PT offsets my Crossfire, putting me right back at "average"!!
