More input. 2001 brochure, page 26-27 shows my Luxury Touring interior, describes it as Dark Taupe/Light Pearl Beige. Same in 2002 brochure, pages 22-23. 2002 brochure, page 20, says Dark Taupe. 2001 window sticker says Taupe PearlBeige. No wonder I'm confused, but question still applies. Same name, different color? Guess I'll have to amble down to the dealer and see what he's got.

Just got back from the dealer, looked at a base and Limited 04. The cloth inserts on the door panels and the seat fabric are a different pattern, and may be a shade or two lighter, than the 01. However, near as salesman and I could tell, the plastic on the doors and dash cover is unchanged. Leather and suede on the limited also looks unchanged. One other minor item jumped out at us. The plastic material on the left foot rest appears to be wider, and ribbed. Haven't kept track of this over the years, but is definately different from my '01.

There's probably some controlling old head with a suit on making the calls at Chrysler headquarters. If you're trying to appeal to a younger crowd, DC, maybe you should, I dunno, hire a younger crowd?
