I dont mind the color, it is the bling--the wheels and the grille. As a designer (not cars) I know it is important to keep the look and feel consistent, and this one is not. On one hand, you have this very 2008 look of a hoopty gangsta ride, and on the other, a 1940s street cruiser. It doesn't work together, it is a pastiche of conflicting ideas. And it looks bad.

I would have rather seen a custom version of the PT. Cruiser. The grille looks like what someone else called a cheese grader. The wheels are just as bad. I would have hoped when they did the front end ithey would have had the grille vertical as one of the older Pt.Cruisers.PT.Cruiser.JPG Something like this cruiser I found on the web. Just how the grille looks would have been better. You would figure a new model would look better and have a more sophistcated look with more pizzazz- instead of a car with a cheese grate for a front end.

WTH??? Those numbers SUCK!!! My '04 GT is supposed to be at 21 in the city 27 on the hwy, with 220 HP from the 2.4L Turbo. I don't no for sure what it is get MPG yet, as I haven't had it long enough to fill the tank twice. But the 180 HP seems really bad when the the old turbo Cruisers were getting 220, and the new Caliber SRT4 with a 2.4L Turbo is getting 285HP. |

Hey Everyone,
I don't care for it, and I am really surprised that they made a Dream Cruiser this year all together. I'm not surprised at the blandness, and lack of color, as they don't want to get too many people overly excited about the PT as it ends production. It just looks boring, and bland to me, and built as kind of an afterthought! In my honest opinion, given the fact that they are ending the PT from production, and their awareness of the huge, and loyal fan base for this vehicle, who even went to the streets with a long petition in an attempt to get Chrysler to reverse their decision, I think, as a final send off, it might have been a really cool idea to maybe either allow one of the aftermarket PT Companies to submit a cool custom design, or allow us "The Fans" to submit some idea's for the final Dream Cruiser as a final farewell! Maybe make the panal truck so many have wanted for years! Maybe a full on Surf Woody Kit which brought such fond memories while cruising down along the water front!Maybe a completely done up classic with all the chrome, baby moons, and classic hood ornament, to symbolize the end of a piece of automotive history! That is my thought on the subject! Take er easy,! Candyman

I really like this...I still prefer the older PTs, but this is quite nice...I just wish I could see the rims in detail...anyone find a pic of this?
I also think the numbers stink...the HP should have never been decreased on the Turbos...period.
