^I agree, the PT was truly an original. You either love it or hate it but it is original. The problem is that despite the unique styling and innovative interior, it isn't holding on. The engine is not efficient and the suspension is aging poorly. If it were more reliable, I think they would continue to sell but since the new has worn off, there needs to be more quality associated with it to last.
This is one car I would like to see with a more efficient engine and a good 4 wheel independent suspension, maybe even RWD. Alas to the public it would still be a Chrysler PT cruiser and I don't think they would pay for those improvements. Like ADR said, the Cruiser is dead. |

eh you can never go by these type of scetches.
did anyone see the 2010 toyota supra concept? it was as ugly as the 2010 pt conecpt. the concept scetches are to get ppl looking. it would be a horrible idea to actually realease a concept design with out majore tweeks,

I stand corrected. I do hope they will improve the mechanics of the thing but I doubt they will. Good luck to the PT.....

That Fiat 500 comment was, no doubt tongue in cheek but I actually had one and loved it. It had 13 HP without the muffler and would go almoset 70. It didn't burn any gas, I was in High School and could risk running out more than my dad so he gassed it. The only disadvantage was that I would have problems finding it as my buddies would hide it. 4 or 5 guys could even carry it up a flight of stairs. I could sit on the back of the seat with my head out the sunroof and drive. A German Army helmet set things off nice for cutting the drive in, if anybody still knows what that means. It was really popular in parades, in costume. It was little better than a motorcycle as far as safety and likely shipped with a body bag. How about a 1200# PT Cruiser?
