REPORT: Chrysler PT Cruiser gets unlikely stay of execution thanks to Fiat tie-up
Mexico: Chrysler PT Continuing in Production, While Waiting for the Fiats "Inside Line is reporting that the PT has yet again escaped the gallow's pole, and instead the Little Paddy Wagon That Could will soldier on until December 2010."

I just wish I had known about the price drops 3 months ago.... paid $9400 for my PT which was below book value but now I'm seeing advertisements from the local Chrysler dealers "new PT's starting at $9900"...
Granted they probably aren't the Limited version but still... quite happy with my PT just a bit annoyed at my luck. It seems like every time I make a major purchase something like this comes along LOL...

This is good news, it shows that the new Chrysler management sees that the PT is a good car & had another year of "life" in what has proven to be a solid design & a milestone in Chryslers history. Fiat also plans to sell the PT in Brazil through it's dealer network there.
