I'm sure a freshening would consist mostly of the front and rear fascia, as before; hopefully, they'll do something to bring back a larger, deeper grille, instead of the little orifice they left it with last time. Chrysler did a great job with the front of the 300; if they have to instill more 'brand identity' in the Cruiser, they could do a lot worse then emulating the 300 grille and lower fascia.
I'd like to see them freshen the interior, as well, keeping some 'hot rod' style in the dash; it would be great if they designed the door panels to also include the body color, in much the same way that the New Beetle does. That's a big part of the "hot rod" style that they almost completely ignored - the car's interior has always been a lot more generic than its exterior, except for the dash itself.
I just wish they - or someone - had a valve cover that looked like a "flathead," and that the intake manifold looked more like a tubular header than a modern plastic molding.
