Default PT will get a facelift!

Few changes in works at Chrysler 092509 - The Augusta Chronicle

"The Chrysler brand is keeping its retro-styled, five-passenger PT Cruiser for a while longer.

The news this past summer reversed a January decision to stop production of the smallest car wearing a Chrysler badge. But note that the reversal does not affect the PT Cruiser Convertible, which was dropped in the 2008 model year."

"Chrysler also will revamp its iconic PT Cruiser."

I doubt there will be any changes to the PT - it got a "stay of execution", but no 2011 model, and 2010 models are already announced....

Let's hope...
It said the mini-vans, too. I've had a Chrysler mini-van continuously since 1985...

I have seen other sourced information saying that the PT is going to soldier on for Chrysler for a while. At least until Fiat can get some new models on the show room floor. They have to keep the profitible cars coming, an my guess is that they still make money off the PT. Not much, but it maybe cheaper to keep her for a few more years.

They need to drop Dodge as a car brand...Keep it truck only...bring back Plymouth as a cheaper car..IE Neons,avengers,ect...Chrysler as the Luxury brand, not stickers that look like wood and cheap crap like that,i mean NICE cars....untill they can stop making the same car 4 times but with a different badge, they wont sell anything.Magnum,300,Charger,Challenger 1 platform....Caliper,Patriot,Compass ....same platform,ya you might save money, but your not selling any of them,...lol...

I would love to see the PT get a new look, bring the neon back and scrap the caliper, make a 2dr option...keep sebring for its ragtop ONLY...300 for top notch...drop the charger, but remake it in a plymouth version...maybe barracuda or something...re work,re shape..and make QUALITY like we know they can,but have been to cheap to do
