What's the future for PT Cruiser?

Im glad I waited to finance a PT myself in my name. I paid just under 20g's. Check out my home page, most of mine was a package deal someone didn't want. I don't know why not, my PT has so many add on's that it was almost show ready. This car is the best vehicle I have ever been in I think.

I test drove 6 vehicles and thats only half of what I looked at before buying. I didn't realise, at the time of buying, that the whole world was crazy in love with this car. I have now joined three forums online and one local club.

I have never seen a single car in my twenty years that has had so much attention. Even now, three years after debut, people ask me "Hey you got a PT Cruiser", its like the car had just came out on the market. Although some people say there ugly and stupid, I think they just dont get it. The PT is a one of a kind vehicle and will always be. I mean how many other car are there on the market that change the colors of the exterior and interior just enough where each year is different. I don't think they offered the Steel Blue back in 00-02' and many other colors, to now move on to the teal green and forest green colors as well, along with other new colors. You almost have to trade it in every year to have the next years unqiue color. The interior has change alot for the 04 compared to my 03'.

I like the PT and hope it has a whole lot of interest and never stops the clubs and shows. Come on, what other car has made the dealerships come up with shows and rewards like this one.

The PT is a fine car and it doesn't have to replace every car on the road to prove it. Some people set to high expectations on things. I think it says a lot about the car that it's still selling, not like when it first appeared, but still selling.

Interesting article....however it doesn't hurt my feelings that the PT Crusier is no longer the "hot" seller that it once was. That doesn't change the fact that it's a great looking car, lots of fun to drive, etc, etc.
In my humble opinion, I don't want to see 50 million pt's on the road. I like the fact that I get looks and the occasional compliment.
It's a great looking car. I love it and won't trade it in for as long as I own it. [8)]

the big says cook can't afford to buy every hot item and dump last years "old" stuff

Preach it, brother! I bought it for me, not for anyone else. I detail it for me, not for others. If other people happen to appreciate it, well, that is just a neat side-effect; others' favourable opinions are nice and encouraging, but not my motivation.

ahhh ,the less my car looks like very other on the road the happier i am. .Besides, Listening to the Auto critics is like listening to the movie critics, it's all personal opinion.

I'm somewhat concerned on just how DC will view the fizzling sales of the PT. Is it a sign to move forward and continue to evolve this truly unique vehicle (yes, yes) or do they just end it?

With the exception of the Turbo and various paint jobs, the styling has not been refreshed, not to mention the ever-creeping price tag! I've mentioned this previous posts: REFRESH THE CAR! Bumpers, Grille, Lamps, Stereo. More Bling-Bling for the youts.

Like it or not, the fate of non-luxury vehicles rests in acceptance or rejection by the youngsters. Come on DC, you can makes all of us happy. Stick with it!!!
