The price excluded the PT actually he had it prior to the operation. The reason he had done the conversion was honestly just a why not. He doesn't race it, do burn outs, or anything else besides just driving it normally. Also he has a rather quiet exhaust on it while the sound is deep it is not loud. So in essence I would say the PT is more so look what can be done than look at what it can do.

You can get a lot of HP and torque from the factory turbo without all the weight of v8 conversions. The big motor does have a cool factor but if just wanting something thats fast, its better to work with the factory engine imo

I remember the PT w/Chevy v8 from Myrtle Beach a couple of years ago.
Not the best looking swap job I've seen.....
But the burnouts in the parking lot were fun

there is enought room for like a small 283 with a power glide nad it would still get as good of MPG's

I remember there was a PT made into a pick-up in Canada that was sporting a Viper V10 . was set up Mid engine . It was also in a Mag. but not sure what one.
