Air flow was ahead of its time. Maybe now time has caught up with it? Some things from it have already caught on...like the placement of the axles and an all metal body (not counting the plastic).
Using it as a basis for styling, the widened hood/grille could be retro/new. The idea of restyling an old, less than beautiful, car worked well for the Chrysler Atlantic Coupe.

I think Chrysler is heading in the wrong-direction if they release what the spy-photos show. What sold our cars was the retro look. The new look is going in the direction of modernizing...if they want the car to sell they need to go MORE retro not less.

Going to a V-6 might interest a few but not me. There is not one high performance V-6 worth having unless Chrysler purchases the rights from Buick and starts installing the old Grand National turboed V-6 into the Cruiser.

Now I MIGHT part with my current GT if they start producing a 300 HP turboed 4 with a 6-spd. Combine that with AWD and they got a sale![?]

From What I see, it looks like there gonna try to fit a V6 In or so, possibly redesign a new front end.. but the headlights has what i want. it has Projectors.. (I Think..) MM gotta love projectors lights on any car, But The PT would look sweet with projector headlights.

I believe if they made the doors open inverted on the rear and made the lower indents larger more like stock running boards and a full verticle grille it would look even more retro then now.

When you say 'inverted', do you mean like a Gullwing door, or do you mean reverse-hinged (suicide)? Because of liability, you will never ever *EVER* see a mass-produced car made with Suicide doors, at least not in the traditional sense.
A custom job with the rears done using modified frames and doors from an older Quad-Cab Ram would be sweet though. Kind of like a Stealth 4-door.
