I REALLY LIKE the concept that PT_Tom put in now that to me is sharp. I would buy one of those in a heart beat. To bad Chrysler didn't put more work into concepts.

The auto show PT is very very nice, and with the new tech the Chrysler has and put it into that coupe...of coarse better gas milage...that thing would be a HUGE hit..just saying

the orange concept pic is crazy cool, they should do that...NOW!!! and give us current pt owners incentives to by the new ones...just sayin

im partial to my idea for a coupe and am gathering parts now i have a non running 06 pt and the a extra rear hatch just need another roof am its welding time . the picin my sig line is just a fast paint drawing i did to give an idea . the back window will be a spilt oval and the trunk will be a shortened hatch

There is a u tube of a PT just like this. He has posted here before. Forgot his name. Might Google it. Its a black one. Thought you would enjoy.

yeah its close but mine will open like a convertible the rear deck will be made of a rear section of roof and will be fixed and the hatch minus the window will hinge using its original attachment points and latch point. we are cutting the new section ofcab roof down the middle front to back and adding a section in to make the sides even with rest of the body, as well as changing the back window to a split oval . doing the body work the way we are planning will prevent moving the gas filler door and adding alot of new steel, and having to build a new deck lid from scratch. the rear doors are cut at the window frames half way point to retain the trim piece behind the front doors and to make a larger side quarter window(blind spot) the new quarter windows will be made using the original rear door glass. the coupe will be strengthened by straps in the roof and a square tube frame with pass thru behind the rear seat which will be installed
