You give your woman too much control, stand up for yourself!

If it were up to me -- and it's not -- I'd sell the Prius and get "Petey" back.

So I guess there really ISN'T anything that can take the PT's place, for me.

Well, since this is your first post I guess it's about time that YOU decide the Prius has to go and the PT coms back. It's obvious you don 't agree with your wife and I wouldn 't know why her opinion overweights yours ?

A Chevy Orlando seems almost a perfect replacement... similar size and utility, as well as fold flat seats. However, for some reason Chevy has not yet allowed it to be sold in the US (yet anyway), have to pick one up in Canada I think....

Why? Did you buy it to drive? or to look at?

I drive it, just don't wear it out.

i bet that in 10 years 90 percent of the folks on here will move on to something else. However I will still be driving mine.

I will outlast you - I had my RX-7 for 23 years and the Cruiser is it's replacement.

I'd guess 90% will turnover in a year-
Vehicles turnover (bad choice of words!) fast, ones over 10 years old-
Superfast-
- Inexperienced drivers get them handed down- They're totaled
- People consider them to be not worth repairs (or maintenance) and they get scrapped
- Keeping up with Jonses'- Even if it's perfect in every way, people'll get a new car

Yeah I was being generous.

I could go out and buy a brand new car but why?

I like the new ford focus st though but nothing out there really catches my eye under $30k

I did the 5.0 thing before, just the styling is getting old, don't like camaros styling either.

I like what I have, it's unique, certainly doesn't look or sound like most people's beat up cruisers here where I live

Yep, no reason for this thread, it's writing an eulogy before the patient is even sick!
