Does that mean there will be a chance of getting a Pee-Ti Cru-Zha?
If it's like a lot of other stuff, the end user takes on the added duty of quality control and we'll be able to buy them for about $2k with free shipping. From my experience with their electronic gadgets, the design philosophy is to keep removing parts until the product falls apart on its own, then put that last part back. Come to think about it, wasn't that Daimler Chrysler's philosophy with the original PT Cruiser? ![]() |

"CHRYSLER, HECHO EN CHINA"! I'm not surprised, Chrysler has been a foreign owned company for a long time. Remember the bailout and the "CLUNKER" buy back that took away all our old toys "IRON". It didn't help Chrysler enough and Daimler had to bail 'em out again! During the Chrysler/Daimler era we experienced the demise of one of Chrysler's best efforts, OUR PT CRUISER. China seems to be the logical progression in Chrysler's ludicrous bail out parade after Fiat. Here's hopin' after the Chinese bail they'll bring back "OUR PT CRUISER"!

I guess if I'm going to be purchasing an "import" in the future, I'll just go with Kia or Hyundai. At least I know where they're coming from.
