Don Bedford (Candyman)
Just a note to say that the PT Family has lost a valued member the other day. Candyman was one of the best! He always had a smile, lots of good info and was always there to help. His health has been failing over the past year or so but he still kept a positive attitude. Unfortunately he lost the battle the day after his 43 birthday. I was fortunate to have been able to meet him in person once at the Laughlin River Run.

RIP Candyman!! I'm sure you'll be up there keeping all the PTs (and other cars) nicely polished and in tip top condition!

Don was truly a great assent to the forum. Prayers and thoughts go out to his family. He still has numerous sticky treads in the "Detail Shop" part of the forum. They will stay there as a tribute to his memory.

Gosch...always sad to read these things when you have a connection.:(

I talked with him many times via PM and a few of direct calls. He was always cheerful and positive even when he was having financial and health troubles.

Thoughts and prayers for his family

Re: Don Bedford (Candyman)
I didn't know Candyman, other than through his contributions on this forum, but from those contributions, one can easily see that he had a lot of talent, that made him truly a unique individual, I'm sure he will be missed.

So sad to go so young, thoughts and prayers to his family.

Great guy. Talented, knowledgeable and always willing to share. Shame. I had no idea he was so young or had such health problems.

 So sad to hear this. Thoughts and prayers for Candyman and his family.

Never had the opportunity to deal with him directly, but his reading thru his numerous threads here showed him to be a very good and knowledgeable man in his field, always willing to help out others.

This forum has indeed lost one of it's top sources of knowledge. He will be missed by many.

Sorry to hear of anyone dying at such a young age. Prayers go out to his family. I sure hope they are comforted.
