I got one in the mail offering me $6500 when I/if i traded my PT in for a new Chrarger SRT (or was it a challenger). Of course the Charger would be full list price and no incentives.

I get offers like that all the time from my dealership and it's usually after I have my PT serviced.
A lot of their offers say that they can put me into a newer vehicle for the same or less payment than my PT. Well with my PT I have no payment, so I would like to see them put me into a newer vehicle for no payment, ain't gonna happen! ![]() I still have full coverage insurance on mine and I have tried to get a valuation out of my insurance company what they would give me if I were to total my PT. They refuse to give out a number unless I want to file a claim. I have used several websites to get a vehicle valuation: NADA - Clean Retail $3000 Kelley Blue Book - Excellent Condition Private Party $2935 But I like the website DriverSide as they give me the Black Book, which is what most dealers use: This is the best value for my PT: ![]() This is probably a more realistic figure: ![]() To me, I estimate that my PT is worth around $6000-$7000 as it has never been in an accident, all body panels are clean and straight (no door dings), paint in excellent condition, interior in excellent condition and everything works! But if your vehicle is ever totaled, have all the information that you can to negotiate that final settlement price with your insurance company. ![]() Last edited by rckstein; 04 Aug 2017 at 04:04 pm. |

If PT Cruiser is in the search box, I photo of his car will usually show no matter what.

Todd, your car looks just like an alternator. ![]() Yea, we're all that way. Search for "pt cruiser nitrous" or "pt cruiser chrome engine" and mine shows up all over the place. Last edited by CREWZIN; 04 Aug 2017 at 04:51 pm. |
