The power levels for the Caliber seem to be below the PT Cruiser's current offerings. (Based on playing with the survey configurator, the 2.4 I4 is 134 hp, and why are they charging $5K for a Turbo diesel on a $15K - $20K car?)
Do you think they would be foolish enough to cut the power in the '08 PT Cruiser? It would be nice to see AWD though. (Especially with current GT power levels). Driving in snow here in Chicago takes some getting used to with a Turbo. - AJ |

The new PT was originally slated to be shown at the Paris Auto show, this week. That's not happening, as DCX is still searching for a direction to take it. We can only wait and hope.... Oh, and if it is Caliber based the GT should get the turbo World engine, which puts out 300 hp and 260 lb/ft of torque. Not too shabby for power. |
