Default Great News Round Headlights

I got a email newsletter from a PT supplier today. They said that the next update slated for the PT is rumuored to include round headlights. Now that gets my attention!

Not mine, love the tear drop head lights. They shouldn't mess with the Cruiser.

They should not mess with the basics of the PT. It will just look like they are doing what all the other retro cars are doing.

And, come on, if we did what everyone else did we would all be driving hondas.

Whatever they do to the Cruiser we should be able to look a first year PT and two years from now think the new one if just modded.

To each his own. I think the headlights are where they missed the boat on the PT. They look like they were borrowed from an Intrepid. You never know the press release rumor could be false. I'll go back and see if they give their source.

The same email says there will be a flatter nose and some other minor styling mods including flared wheel wells. A flatter front doesn't sound good to me. I think it is already too flat.

Still, there is not another car on the road I would consider for the price.

I agree kev....

The PT needed a longer "nose" so to say....

And some vintage round headlights on some
chrome bars like from the 40's with solid
fenders all around...

IMO....

Hmm.... the headlights, well, not too bad to me, but is it me, or does anyone else see that there is a giant tractor-trailer truck, that has the exact same headlights?

IMHO the PT should have had round headlamps from day one. The ricer headlamp were the biggest styling blunder on the car. They bear no relationship to the retro style of the car and look totally out of place. The strange looking taillamps are second only to the headlamps.

Here's a 5 minute photoshop I did. Using srt-4 (neon) headlights. I dunno, guess it wouldn't look that bad...

Wow, that makes it look better than I thought it would. That picture needs to be forwarded to Chrysler.

Sorry Kevin, I have to disagree with you. Tommy, great photoshop, but to me it looks like a fat man with small beady eyes. No thank you. I'll keep my cruiser the way it is and just get some "angry eyelids".
