I saw that this was posted in 07 but wasn't sure if this member was still trolling around. To take a car that has roughly 150+ hp and make 400hp naturally raises questions. What trans was used, what motor mods, size turbo, amount of boost ect. ect. I would of liked to see the dyno or some drag videos to see what a 400hp Cruiser runs (if it indeed made 400hp). I am really surprised that this thread did not draw any attention and interest. Skylight, if you are floating around lets see some vids in action!!!

If you go to PTcrew there are more hot rodders over there. But most have turbo cars.

I dynoed my GT stock with stg 1 puter and put 227 WHP and 254 ft-lbs to the wheels on a dynojet.

On a base PT you would destoy the 40TE with 400 HP in short order

I think there were su[per chargers sold for the PT back in 2001 but I dont know if anyone still makes them.

Since you have a mustang why spend a ton of money trying to make a base PT fast?

I have no intentions on making my pt fast, I do however want to slam it to the ground, do a 2 tone black and purple paint scheme and have my wife parked next to me at car shows. But being a performance guy who has built high hp mustangs I have a pretty good understanding of what it takes to make big number hp. So when I am seeing these Cruisers claiming to have 400hp, 500hp, 599.9hp all on a stock block and internals and stock transmissions it raises a eyebrow to how these guys are doing it. Oh, and I have seen the supercharger kit kit for he pt still around. If I wanted a little extra kick out of the car though I would install my extra nitrous kit I have in my garage and spray a 100 wet shot...but even then it would still only be 250hp and I would need to buy new spark plugs on a regular.
