i am going to put a sponge type self stick weather stripping around the opening to block air from engine bay from getting sucked into crack . as for the ttab turbo to air box tube , i did somthing...

will wraping the turbo pipes stop balloning

aside from paying a few hundred for hard pipes - can we wrap them in black duct tape or heat tape to stiffen them - or is this a bad idea - ( not to concerned on looks )

i tried it on my gt autostick with a few intake upgrades - it sounded like crap to me , but i am a bit older now than when i owned my 5.0 with straight h pipes . i can say it is easy to take off/put...

i agree a dying job would be risky but i was interested in a non-tinted clear waterproofer that has a darkening effect as a quality .

i thought some of the convt owners spray a water proofer on the top . they make a product for converts - how well does the 303 product work or the raggtopp product

these may be correct answers ,BuT i was trying to find out specific reasons IE. evidence of performance or mechanical explaination as for materials used and design flaws

what makes the stock MOPAR plug wires so bad

does anyone know why people say they are terrible ( the look like all the other wires to me ) why would chrysler put such a bad wire on performance car if it could be easily avoided ?

just checking to see if these are normal levels for a GT auto with , stock airbox K&N drop in with all 3 silencers removed , synthetic oil and premium gas -car has 20,000miles . PARK - IDLE VACUUM...

what are the two silver modules attached to the turbo

i see two silver attachments to the turbo - one has a thin tube coming out of it . what are these parts and what does the tube do ( put air in or release air )

are there any vacuum/pressure tubes that can be disconected to trick obd computer

i see alot of small hose tubes on turbo engine . a few on the turbo itself . can any of them be removed / capped off or reduced flow to trick the computer to allow more boost ?

i think i will cut about 10" off on each side to allow a vent area while still keeping center area tight - another person did a test and found ( with a piece of string , air is actually sucked into...

i removed strip to see if it got wet when i washed car - nothing got wet - i think i am going to put a few pieces of it on though to support the hood from being flimsy
