Have you considered looking into a fuel pump listed for the 2003 Turbo PT?

Rock Auto has a listing with comparable part #s.

The cable has suffered a bend of the internal wire.
A new cable is a good remedy, as well as making sure the control doors that the cable actuates are not binding.

If you have not your replaced your timing belt and associated components - the idler and tensioner pulleys as well as the waterpump can make noise.

The heater core is plumbed to operate at full flow all the time, coolant wise.
However, it is a parallel flow with block and head circulation.
If your heater core has become partially obstructed...
