Re: Here's a tip for replacing the thermostat

I replaced my thermostat yesterday, and did a few things wrong. First, I didn't line up the notch correctly, and then, I overtightened one of the bolts. So, now I am going to replace the housing,...

'07 TE will not idle past 3500-4K RPM...

I was at the auto parts store today, picking up a thermostat for my '07 Touring Edition. I read about Seafoam in another group , so I decided to give it a try for my 2000 Grand Caravan (185K miles)...

Limp mode today

Well, this was a new thing for me! My 2007 went into limp mode today, on the interstate. I have a cheap OBD in the car, and it gave me three codes - P0700, P0882, and C2500. I am hoping to get...

Re: Climate control cable - selector 2007

Yep, that is the one. I took a picture this afternoon of the vents. They seem to be held in place at the bottom. Hopefully the picture helps make sense. Getting the glove box out is easy, and I...

So, I am still working on getting this sorted out. I got the manual (thanks!) and am trying to figure that out. I did pull the one fuse which ruled out one problem. I was driving downtown, and...

Re: PDC (fuse box) cover part number?

Thanks to both! $30 is way too much. I have some yards near me, and I need to get some other parts as well. I bought the cheap tail lights on Amazon, and they are total garbage. I am so mad. ...

Re: New radiator fan, and now new problems

I did the diagnosis, and told them what needed to be done. I had been putting it off, and kit became an emergency. It is about 6 hours from me, and one time zone earlier. Once I get another copy...

Re: New radiator fan, and now new problems

Fudge - forgot to aff some stuff:

The fan generally stays off after driving. That said, if it stays on when I get where I am going, I just disconnect the + on the battery until I get back. Last...

Re: New radiator fan, and now new problems

My guess is just the fan, but I will double check. I told them it was the one with the 4 pin connector as I had been able to get that much figured out ahead of replacing it myself. I will have to...

Re: Radiator fan (probably) bad, what else?

Thanks! I replaced the relays this summer, and have had some experience with the locking clip on this and The Warden's 2002 Grand Caravan. Sounds like mine is a 4 pin. Any major differences in...

Re: Radiator fan (probably) bad, what else?

Is there a quick way to find out if my 2007 has a 3 pin or 4 pin radiator fan? I don't want to do this twice. Thanks!

Re: Radiator fan (probably) bad, what else?

No to both. I was thinking it might be good to change the hoses now, but I wonder if it is worth removing and replacing the radiator as well? And I bought the car with about 40K on it, so the...
