I don't think the year matter as much as the transmission does.

I rather have 03 turbo with a manual transmission than 06 with an auto.

Is the compressor bypass valve working?

Unless you can remove the o2 sensor and plug a device there to test the back pressure, you can't say the catalytic converter is not clogged.

Don't you have your owner's manual? Look it up there, the timing belt schedule should be there, as well as what type of coolant you need to use.
