Re: PT Cruiser Towing capacity?

You overload the PT by hauling something that heavy for very long and odds are good that you'll burn the transmission up. Even if you add a separate trans cooler to it. I wouldn't risk it, if it were...

Re: SPARK PLUG TIPS

The only Champions I've ever seen like that were platinum tips. I don't like platinum plugs in a Mopar. I've always gotten my best results with a Champion copper core plug. As long as you're happy...

Re: SPARK PLUG TIPS

It's normal, not eroded. What the hell type of Champion plugs did you get, Frank? That doesn't look like a copper core plug to me. Looks more like a platinum tip. If so, they're very small like that....

Re: no start

If you've never replaced the plug wires, now might be a good time. They get weak after several years and won't carry the spark.

Re: Turbo intake hose repair

Necessity is the mother of invention, right? My Dad always told me if you don't have what you need, find a way to use what you have. I did that yesterday by "creating" a bushing for my power washer....

Re: Speaking of CV joints...

Generally, a defective cv joint or axle will provided more of a "clicking" sound than a clunk. Clunking could be a tie rod end link, sway bar bushing, lower control arm bushing or even a ball joint...

The crank seal isn't above the alternator. Looks like you have some work to do, so go get that seal and get to it!

Re: Help. Cv axle
