how much did you mill the head? how much was "taking it to the limit"?
IIRC right from my honda days, every .012" you mill off retards the cam by 1° because it basically lengthened the timing...

you save .6 euros per litre, but you burn 30% more fuel. so technically you only save .3 euros per litre, minus the cost of bigger injectors, the tuning hardware, and the cost of having it tuned. ...
