Also need a source for the sponge filter in the air box.
Thanks

Re: P507 error after replacing ground/torque strut

I looked for the short air box hose on there. I couldn't locate it. Haven't been on there yet to look for the PCV line.
I love Rockauto. Best pricing anywhere and their shipping is cheap and fast...

Re: P507 error after replacing ground/torque strut

Found the problem. Fixed it. Boy, do I feel stupid!

I left work today. While in the parking lot, I started the car and popped the hood to take a look. Immediately, I heard a loud vacuum sound. The...

Re: P507 error after replacing ground/torque strut

Thanks. I'll give that a shot.
I'm assuming that I'll need to manually reset the code or go through a few drive cycles to clear the code?

Re: 2006 PT will not start at all! No crank, nothing!

Had the me problem over the last few weeks on my '05 PT. In the end, I replaced the ground wires from battery to side fender wall and block. All seems good now (until a 507 high idle error this...

P507 error after replacing ground/torque strut

I've never had this error before. As I came to a stop light this morning, the engine light came on. I immediately pulled in to a parking lot and did the key dance to retrieve the code. I've looked...

Re: cooling fan woes. Searched, tested and inspected everything.

I'm so frustrated by this. New High Speed Relay did not help my situation. In fact, now jumping the realy socket no longer runs the fan either. I had little time this evening to work on this. I plan...

Re: cooling fan woes. Searched, tested and inspected everything.

Try this. Pull the High Speed Relay Turn the engine on. Does the fan run? I believe there is a fail-safe for the relay circuit.

I'm asking because my 05 Limited Turbo is giving me the same...

Re: Smoke at start-up. PCV valve missing "guts".

Thanks again or the info. I know too well about oil supply lines. My Plmouth Laser Turbo went to the dealer for a timing belt and they stripped out my oil feed line. I took it back for a nasty leak...

Re: Smoke at start-up. PCV valve missing "guts".

I don't think so (and certainly hope not). Since installing the new PCV valve, the billowing smoke that was happening at each start-up is now gone. I also noticed that the PT turns over much easier...

Re: Drivers window has white grease on it

Well, I had the inside panel off the door and still can't tell what is causing this. I can "teeter" the window from side to side on the mounting bracket.

Is there anything that can be replaced on...

Re: 200,000 Miles and now she wants to smoke?

Thanks for the info. I have been having the smoke problem too. I used the Chemtool suggested in this post. Plus, I changed out the PCV valve. Original PCV valve was missing it's "guts". Looks like...

Re: PCV Valve location?

Don't want to do a double post. But this is where I found a bunch of the info about the PCV valve. My PCV valve was missing the guts too. Same symtom, smoke on start-up. So... please look here.

Smoke at start-up. PCV valve missing "guts".

The other day, my wife told me that our PT Lmtd Turbo was smoking at start-up. I took a look around the forum and found a few suggestions of where to look for the cause.
Since the last fuel fill up...

Thanks for the replies and the link. I also found that video when I started looking for answers about what was happening. Seems to be easy enough to remove. I'll just have to get out there and do it...

Drivers window has white grease on it

I'm hoping someone can help me diagnose this before I tear the door apart.

I first started having a problem in early May with my driver's side window. It goes down fine. But when I put it up, it...

My old battery went...

Re: Better light bulbs low beam?

I put a pair of Sylvania Silverstars 9006xs bulbs in my PT Feb. 2008. This past weekend, both bulbs went out within a few hours of each other. Fortunately, I kept the OEM bulb that wasn't out when I...

Re: Puzzled by alignment readings

I guess the bad tire could have been out of balance. I'll never know for sure because I just put the new tires on. (BTW... I like the way the new BFGoodrich Touring T/A tires feel on my PT)

Thanks for the replies everyone!

Yes, they were able to dial in the front. I just don't know if the amount that the back is out is worth all the effort involved to dial it in.

What is really...

Puzzled by alignment readings

I just replaced the tires on my PT. The tread was getting thin and my rear passenger side tire had very bad wear on the outside edge with high spots pretty evenly spaced around that tire. I decided...

Re: Lower Control Arm options

I'll have to see if I still have the paperwork from my Watts link. I got mine from a local NAPA store. I think it may have been Dorman as well.

I'll be buying my Moog control arms today. I'm on my...

Re: Error code 0339

Replaced the sensor. It was hard to get out. It would move (spin), but just wouldn't come out. Finally, after taking the support collar off, I was able to get at it better and remove it. No return of...
