Re: PT Cruiser SRT. Why is there none?

Also in '05 they also had an SRT6 Chrysler Crossfire, but who knows the thinking behind the names, if they had really wanted to there could have been a 5 Speed only SRT PT edition, but maybe they did...

Re: How Much Horsepower Loss....

All injectors in both the 180hp and the 220/230hp engines are the same after 2003, the '03 turbo engine was only 215hp and had 47.4 lb/hr = 524.7 cc/min, (There was no "lite" turbo in '03), The '03...

Re: How do you know

Not all codes will light the Red "CEL" (Check engine light), only things that effect emissions, safety, or driveability that should be looked at right away will set the light, there are lots of other...

Re: How do you know

As you have an '05 the injectors will not tell you anyway as only the '03 PTs get larger injectors with a Mopar Stage 1 kit, all others '04 & up already have the larger 577cc/min injectors, if it was...

Re: How Much Horsepower Loss....

As you may or may not know, the only difference between the GT HO 220-230hp and the 180hp "turbo lite' is the PCM, along with the use of the higher octane fuel, the increased hp is from more timing...

Re: Convertible Top boot cover

Yes, it keeps the dirt etc from getting down inside the mechanism and the rear window tracks, it also keeps the dirt from getting on the inside headliner, It also decreases the wind drag on the car,...

Re: Tire size on turbo wheel.

I have been running 215/50/17 BF Goodrich KDW2s on my DC4 since I changed out the crappy RSAs at 1500 miles, I now have 16000+ and love the way it handles, I wanted 225s but they would not be safe on...

Re: Gas octane

Re: N.Y. City Emisisons

You should not have any problems, in almost 4 years I have never heard of any Stage 1 PT not passing emissions. As a matter of fact, I have not heard of a SRT4 Stage 2 or 3 not ever passing either,...

Re: getting a turbo together

If you can, you should get a complete engine, or at least a short block, the oil pump, pistons, rods, & crank are all upgraded from the n/a engine, and the block has oil jets to squirt oil into the...

Re: skunk 2 springs????

Re: Raising Front of Vehicle

I have not seen any springs to raise the front of a PT, even the adjustable Mopar Stage 2 coil overs I have will only go from stock height to 40mm lower, not higher than stock, the convertible does...

Re: 03 injectors vs 04 injectors

The increase in size of the '04 injectors to 577cc/min added 5hp to make 220 instead of the '03s 215hp, but, unless you add a way to change the programming of the PCM, (ie. piggyback computer, or...

Re: Stock injector size

2003 Turbos came with the 527cc/min injectors, 2004, and up came with 577cc/min injectors which are the same injectors that came with the 2003 Mopar Stage 1 kit, that is why the 2004 and up Stage 1...
