Re: 2006 Timing Belt, Belt to tight, Won't fit over engine

Rob is correct... come at it with a different attitude and approach. Come at it from a different angle. Outsmart it. Listen... I swapped motors in mine. Not the candy-ass way it says in the manual...

Re: Huge thanks to Nitro!

Wow... When I saw the title to this thread, I could have scripted the rest almost word for word. Fascinating behavior. Textbook stuff.

Re: Engine pull might be more work than I thought

Among other numerous details, here's a few that may help... I removed power steering and AC pumps, along with the alternator. If you remove the torque converter bolts and unbolt all engine mounts...

Re: VMS RACING SRT4 NEON IGNITION COIL AND 10.2mm WIRES INSTALL ON 02 NON TURBO CRUIS

^^^^^^ This is somewhat confusing... You've posted one quote where Nitro specifically says that the problem at hand likely has nothing to do with brand, and he continues on with diagnostics. In the...

Re: What did you do to your Cruiser today?

I bought yet another Fiat/Chrysler product playmate for my PT... I'll have to get a picture of all four Mopars together... Anyway, not quite as fun as the 124 Spider, but built for a completely...

Re: New here, and I heard you guys know your stuff regarding performance increase

You must be referring to the non-turbo PT. The Cherokee has a multi-air 2.4... Whole different animal, with many years of technology on its side, along with a nine-speed transmission with many years...

Re: Overflow Volume

Mark yours cold, and hot. If it moves much, manually fill it to the high line, then use a turkey baster (or whatever) to extract down to the low line, and measure the amount you removed. Add some for...

Re: '05 GT convertible build

I had already installed all new speakers previously, but I finally got to install the new Kenwood stereo. Bought the mounting trim plate and connector plugs from Crutchfield. Install was smooth. It's...

Re: Cruiser fuel pump access

I watched the video a while back, and even considered it myself. However, after having dropped my tank to install a higher flow pump, I gotta say... it's not difficult. An air gun (for the strap...

Re: Any of you USE your boot cover?

After having the car a year, I finally tried mine this past weekend. Now that I know how it goes, it will only take 2-3 minutes to do, but as mentioned above, I'd have to be committed to leaving the...

Re: '05 GT convertible build

Thanks, I appreciate it. I may do a walk-around video at some point to show some of the things I've done with the car, but I have numerous projects in mind still, so I'm not quite ready to "document"...

Re: '05 GT convertible build

I finally got to install my DPIC gauge. I mounted it by the rear view mirror. Had to be careful of the passenger sun visor and full motion of the rear view mirror. The gauge pod pedestal required a...

Re: Sylvania Silverstar Light Bulbs

Re: Fuel pump pressure

Re: '05 GT convertible build

I've had a full week of daily driving with the new motor. It's running great, and a substantial increase in power over the previous motor.

With that taken care of, I've been able to get back to...
