I have done some searching thru the forums and it seems all the links are now dead. Since the XM roady is like 49.99 now, I think I am going to take the plunge and go ahead and get one. My best plan was to intall the bracket on the top of the plastic where the AC vents are, and run the wiring behind. Question is the Antenna. Is it absolutely necessary to mount that thing on the roof? I had seen where some of you mount it on the dash, but I don't want it looking too ghetto. Any one that can give me suggestions I would greatly appreciate it.

On the dash is fine. Check out the pics I posted here.

I have to agree with Espresso. We have XM antennas on the dash of both of our Cruisers and reception is good. My wife has a Roady2 and I have an Alpine head unit with built-in XM. I love that thing to death.
