Default Wiring guru needed

Just had installed an Alpine amp and rear speakers. When I got home and drove my car at night I flipped on my neon lights under my dash. As soon as I did that I heard a static sound from the speakers. Called the install place and they said its not related to the install but something with the tranformer in the neon? What should I do now? Gary

Switch to LEDs, you will be happier and so will your audio system.

Gary, try this link. It may help. Be sure to consult the diagnostic flow chart, too.

Good Luck!

Problem fixed, it was so simple you would think these idiots knew how to remedy the problem. I took it somewhere else and they noticed that the wires from the amp were laying on top of the neon wires. They moved it farther away and wa la, no more hiss. WARNING, DON'T GO TO BEST BUY FOR INSTALLING ANYTHING. GARY
