Hello.
Before anything apologizes a for the bad translation to the English language. I hope somebody can help me. Somebody knows if the problem that next describe it is serious or simple to solve. What happens is that the normal function of the radius of fading 45 minutes after rotating the key to turn off the motor, or until a door opens up; not this operating correctly in my PT because as soon as I rotate the key to turn off the motor the radius of my PT it also fades. Thank you and Greetings |

If I understand right, you have a problem with the interior light going off (theater dimming). This is controlled by the instrument cluster and there is no adjustment or "fix". If your dealer can't check the programming of the cluster, it must be replaced.
EDIT you have this in sound, and mention stereo. Is it the RADIO that is turning off?

[/quote] YEs, Before, when it rotated the ignition key, to turn off my PT the AM/FM stereo remained working for 45 minutes, or until a door opened up. But at the moment something happened him, because when I turn off my PT, the AM/FM stereo car turn off immediately.

PTlimamix....
You must have the steering wheel control buttons. Most PT Cruisers do not have that and I haven't seen that personally myself yet. Those are the only radios with the shut down delay. From what I understand about what that is for is so that when you turn the key to the "off" position, you can unload CD music disks from the unit for 45 more seconds or open the door. I understand that you say the "radio" now shuts off immidately with the key and that is not as it should be. But have you tried to unload a CD also, with the key off before you open a door? If that no longer works, your dealer service department will have to fix the problem. Good luck and welcome to the forum. |

Thank you for your comments, but I don't have the controls to the steering wheel, and yes, I can discharge a CD with the key of out ignition, perhaps the problem is with the sound, before it was listened by 45 minutes after turning off the motor or until opening the door. but not at the moment.
Gracias mi amigo, por ser paciente conmigo. (Thank you my friend, to be patient with me.)
