I just bought a 2003 Dream Cruiser and want to convert the radio to XM Satellite as I like it much better than Sirius. Does anybody know if it can be converted using the existing radio and not make a lot of modifications to the car. I have heard there is a connector you can buy that will cause the radio display to show XM and not Sirius and I think you would have to change to the XM modulator as well. I could not find the modulator but in reading some of the responses I think maybe it is under the seat.

I believe you would have to buy a whole new satellite receiver, not just the "tuner". I had the Chrysler Sirius receiver installed on my 2002 LE by a Chrysler dealer and it was installed in the left rear quarter panel.
Why do you like XM better? Good luck; SRG |
