wiring speaker which is possitive? negative?

Just finished wiring the rear speakers and I ask myself which wire is + which is -

I tried but ways and couldn't hear the difference

Is (+) wires usually color in Orange,Yellow,Red or Black?

and (-) wires in White,Pink,Blue,Purple??

if thats the case I got it right

Do you have that many colors with the speakers you bought? Usually, black is ground.

Yes I know which is which for my new speakers....but not the wires on the PT anyone got any idea?

Yes they do.
Take a 1,5 V cell and check the contacts, if the membrane (?) go up it's right (+ and -) if you reverse the polarity the membrane go down with the cell test.

Will it hurt the speaker if you reverse polarity? It'll just sound worse than with correct polarity, right???[:I]

my friend teach me this trick if u done it right when u apply alot of bas to the speaker the the pop out 1st...but if u wire it wrong the membrane pop IN 1st

but I got the book and they they u what color is what and I fixed all 4 speakers
